ReV 217: Bastards. Cake. Nothings.

Posted by Thomas C. Robinson on 4 Feb 2010

Things continued to get more and more heated in PRIME as the Culture Shock Tour rolled into the Peoples Republic of China, Shanghai. It’s safe to say that it was hardly a utopia backstage, or in the ring, as multiple factions and individuals all have been vying for more power within the federation. With several accusations being thrown about, including an ultimate major breach of contract and a firing, rehiring, firing, and rehiring, one can easily say this was a ReVolution one could not miss!

ReVolution 217 started off with a bastard, well, three bastards, making it well known that they weren’t going anywhere, and that their goals were simple: the complete domination of the entire PRIME universe. But the matches themselves were chaotic enough! Devin Shakur was gracious enough to help Tyler Rayne to his locker room… out of the goodness of his heart.

The newcomer Cyrus Sutherland locked up with Chainz, but the match didn’t go the way anyone, save for the competitors, had planned. The fallout of the match, however, had a major impact on the entire show and brought a newfound threat, if not terror, to PRIME.

Mach Hawke made his singles debut against none other than "The Murder Show" Hessian. Though Hessian certainly had the singles competition experience, size, and weight, it’s no doubt that Hawke had the potential numbers with his tag partner in the wings: Mamoru Azuma. Would the numbers gave have to play in order for Hawke to take down the behemoth known as Hessian?

Finally, "The Grin" went up against veteran Troy Douglas. What would normally have been an epic match between two veteran stars could only be compounded with the outside forces working backstage in PRIME. What tricks did Tony Gamble have up his sleeve? Does Troy Douglas have a potential backstage supporter for his cause?

Beyond the three matches, we found a man in a clown suit, cake, a major breach of contract allegation, stories of Tyler Rayne’s sexual escapades, and a reminder from the Bastards that Nothing’s Sacred in PRIME.
