BIOGRAPHY

Born into a family rich with Lucha Libre history and several famous luchadores, Elise was exposed to the industry at a very young age. Living the life that only more privledged members of the Lucha Libre profession live. Raised in a mansion in Havana, Cuba she grew up watching her father, grand father, and uncles compete. It was something that drive most young people to want to get their big break in the business.

Elise Aresel Nguyen was not that type of young person.

Changing her name from her father's name (which she'd kick my ass for mentioning) to her mother's maiden name of Nguyen, Elise hoped to shed all the stigma of her families exploits and pursued a career in acting and modeling aftering defecting from Cuba shortly after her sixteenth birthday. At first she was very successful, getting signed to a Miami based modeling agency not a year later... becoming an official US Citizen at age 17, and a Hawaiian Tropics bikini model at age 18 she accomplished her pursuits very early in life.

It was through her travels in Hawaiian Tropics that she first traveled to her mother's homeland in Japan, and with a gathering of her friends witnessed her first Puroresu event. The fame, the fanfare, the popularity, the entertainment, the wealth... these were callings that a young woman looking desperately to be famous couldn't resist. Upon returning home to Cuba she demanded to be taught the art of Lucha Libre from her family, but the tradition of Lucha Libre didn't allow women to compete.

This setback just made her want it even more.

You can say a lot of things about Elise Ares... and probably the most accurate of which is that if she can't have it, she'll want it even more. Going back to the United States and returning to the Miami area where she first made her mark, she found a former Luchadore shunned from the business who was more than happy to teach an eager, young, and beautiful lady the ropes of the business she was forbade from.

Upon graduation, Elise Ares started small in Florda In-State indy promotions before moving up in the ranks to make several tours of Canada and Japan. Currently she's looking to make her big break into superstardom. Soon the world will be at her fingertips.
