Garbage Bag Johnny
Career Highlights

After wrestling a short stint in a small federation and then subsequently forgetting most of the details about it, Garbage Bag Johnny was out of work for a good year before deciding to try out for Atlantic Wrestling Club on a whim back in March 2006. With the Zero II Hero Tournament approaching, Harber was accepting new talent whether that talent looked to be promising or not.

Garbage Bag Johnny, at the time, already had a small cult following based on the fans love for his outlandish character- knowing that it almost wasn't a character at all. GBJ impressed in the ring with his combination of intoxicated fury, blind luck, and his ability to take a beating and feel no effect due to whatever his current inebriation was at the time.

By Zero II Hero, in the end of April, Garbage Bag Johnny had furthered his fan base by writing his own theme song that correctly predicted his victory in the tournament. With this under his belt, GBJ was set to have a shot at the Transatlantic Championship at AWC's flagship PPV, Coast to Coast against current champion Adam Dick.

In the meantime, Dick and Johnny made fast friends over their mutual love of marijuana and GBJ's willingness to take care of Adam Dick's potential opponents. In their claim to the throne challenge, where anyone wishing to get a shot at Dick's championship had to defeat GBJ first, none of the challengers were able to do it. GBJ went 11 matches without suffering a defeat, besting some of AWC's best in the process.

Afterwards, Dick disappeared, and Harber reintroduced the AWC Transatlantic Belt (Dick had been holding the Transatlantic Crown), and the Belt was deemed to Pierce Lavelle after two consequent battle royals resulting in a match between Ellis Nash and Pierce Lavelle.

Flexing another clause in GBJ's Z2H winning conditions, it turned out that GBJ was #1 contender to the Transatlantic Crown, but not the belt itself...thus, GBJ would not even get the shot he earned at the full Transatlantic Championship...

Until he won an 8 man clusterfuck at a Fresh!West special edition where he was the last man standing at Ruby's Surf City Diner in an elimination match where opponents had to be tossed into the Pacific Ocean from the height of the diner situated well above it. It was an epic match indeed, and GBJ came out on top, prevailing over Vince Jones to gain #1 contendership to both TA Titles.

The stage was set then for Coast II Coast in a triple threat match that spanned the whole series of islands over the Bermudas. Adam Dick, Pierce Lavelle, and GBJ (all in PRIME now), battled in a triple threat match for reunification of the Transatlantic Title. After a grueling, segue-filled contest, GBJ leaped several stories to put Lavelle through the top of a semi truck's trailer, landing auspiciously for the cover and gaining the Transatlantic Championship within 6 months of his entry into AWC.

As of AWC's time of closing, Garbage Bag Johnny held the best record of all time in AWC and had made a huge name for himself in the PTC community. On Christmas Day 2006, GBJ was one of the final competitors (along with Ellis Nash) to be inducted into AWC's Roll of Legends where he joins fellow PRIME roster members Pierce Lavelle, Jack Murphy, and the Illustrious Face-Eater Adam Dick.

While GBJ truly went from zero to hero in AWC, he hopes to continue his ascent in PRIME.
