Wrestling Style:	All-Arounder (Nova is of the height and weight to dabble a little in everything. He places heavy emphasis on suplexes and slams, despite not being the proverbial 'biggest dog in the yard,' because he recognizes that the key to executing most of these moves lies not in brute strength, but in the application of leverage, and this is an area where the Rising Star excels. Also, while not known first and foremost for his aerial prowess, Nova has no qualms about taking it to the top rope. Most of his arsenal in this area, outside of the SSP and any trademark moves he implements, consists of variations on traditional splashes and other moves that place emphasis on abs/chest/full-frontal (tee-hee-hee) contact. In the submission game Nova is experienced, but certainly not prolific. Outside of the HFPNSIHPLB and Texas Cloverleaf, he basically sticks to your Figure-Fours, Boston Crabs, and other traditional holds. In terms of his mat abilities, Nova is admittedly weak. He has no amateur wrestling background, so while he isn't totally daft, don't expect him to roll around with the fluency of a Youngblood or Deville. As far as brawling goes, if you're down, Nova's down, but again, it's not his strongest suit. He isn't Token Weed, and he's always steered clear of the Asylums of the professional wrestling business.)

That might be true about Nova's short-lived contract, signed in May of 2008, to rejoin the active roster...but these things are rarely handled with such grace. When PRIME's newest "investigative journalist" decided to make his name on breaking a massive (and highly scurrilous) story about debauchery at the Risen Star's re-signing party - a story which led to a media backlash and the cancellation of Nova's contract - young Wilson opened up a can of worms that Nova intends to see him eat, one by one.

However, the Hall of Famer might be under-estimating the lengths to which the Real Dirt representative will go for his scoop.

Main Ally

Angelo Deville
The "Doc" to Nova's "Wyatt," the Devil's Don and the Rising Star have been fast allies since the summer of 2005, when a mutual hatred of Brandon Youngblood, as well as other shared traits, brought the unlikely duo together. At that summer's end, in the Main Event at Tropical Turmoil, Youngblood interrupted Nova halfway through a Shooting Star Press, causing the Rising Star to land awkwardly on his neck. Deville intervened in the aftermath, potentially saving Nova's life. Nova never forgot it, and when the time came to choose loyalty to PRIME or the Crimson Angel, the Rising Star had no problems turning his back on the company he had grown to despise.

Deville played a crucial role in helping Nova counterbalance Chet Worth's attempts to remove the Universal Title from around his waist with consecutive defenses from King of Kings '06 to Culture Shock '07, but in an odd twist of fate Deville soon disappeared, leaving Nova to champion the notorious stable and rebuild the ranks, replacing the Devil's Don and also the absent "Renegade" Rich Rollins with Sonny Silver and Tony "The Grin" Gamble.

As Deville was not present for the unceremonious collapse of Fuck You at Overkill 2007, and has not been heard from since his departure, the status of his long-standing alliance with Nova remains up in the air, but Nova appears to harbor no ill will with his former stablemate, having been seen with him prior to the Deville's incarceration at Em-Ron.
