The music industry and the wrestling industry are butting heads.
Toby Keith, famous country singer world-wide, has issued a complaint with PRIME. More specifically, PRIME's Intense Champion, Wade Elliott.
"For one thing, I have, and always will be, "The Big Dog," said Keith in a recent interview. "For another, The Ford F-150 is my endorsement. I ain't got much against Wade in general, but when it comes down to business, I've gotta cut ties with 'im."
Which means the Drifter is in need of a new entrance theme, as Keith has plans to cancel PRIME's rights to his song, "Hit It."
"Toby Keith can go f**k himself," said Elliott at a local bar. "I weren't the one callin' myself 'The Big Dog.' Call me 'The Bad Dog!' See if I give a s**t!. An' if his truck means so much to him, hell, I'll give my ride to some ass**** off the street an' go buy myself a Silverado."
The Southern Sparkplug proceeded to down a tumbler of bourbon, surprise surprise. I asked him if he had a band in mind for a new entrance theme, to which he offered a big grin.
"The band I shoulda been doin' business with in the first place," he replied. "The one an' only Lynyrd Skynyrd."
Will PRIMEates now be witnessed to "The Bad Dog" Wade Elliott strutting to a different tune? The only place to find out is on FX, where The Great American Nightmare will air this weekend.
