Rumors are starting to fly fast and furious about the future of PRIME and what exactly is taking place in an on-going series of meetings taking place here in Chicago. Matt Mills tweeted early this morning:
Deal is official! More info to come, but my sources say PRIME was sold late last night.
…but the tweet was deleted almost immediately and Mills later indicated that he may have jumped the gun. To be honest, no one is sure if a sale of the company is even what is being discussed in these meetings. Some are speculating that Prometheus, LLC are simply discussing what to do with the vast library of PRIME footage and how to best capitalize on this resource that has been accumulating over the last decade.
Still, several days worth of meetings seems excessive for anything short of a potential monumental decision relating to PRIME’s future.
Just this afternoon, at approximately 2:00pm central time, Blaine Blair and Lisa Tyler were seen entering Two Prudential Plaza with a rather large gentlemen. The identity of the third party member remains a mystery, but it seems the number of individuals involved in these meetings may be growing by the day.
