The Hessman Cometh

With the news breaking earlier in the month that PRIME ownership has changed hands the question raised immediately is: Who? Who is at the helm of the resurrection? Who among the talent, past or present is going to return to the company after it was essentially pulled out from under their feet like the proverbial rug? Little has been heard of the majority of the roster in the last several months, but one of the names being banded around to make a return to PRIME is its current and two-time Universal Champion.

Many sources have failed to come up with a lead as to the whereabouts of Hessian since he last defended his championship at Culture Shock 2011 against Matt Ward and Violence Jack, with little being heard from various media outlets and less so in his hometown of Detroit. However one source was able to track the Universal Champion down to the Savoy in London, England where we were able to reach Hessian for a statement regarding PRIME and its final run, his whereabouts and any future involvement.

“No, I had no clue PRIME was under new ownership. I've been overseas for the majority of the closure working on different projects; wrestling around Europe, Japan and so on, little bit of TV and film work, that kinda thing. I haven't heard anything from anyone regarding PRIME, the Universal Title or any participation on my part. If what you're saying is true and there's another Colossus on the cards, well hell, I'm not going to turn my back on a company that has been good to me like PRIME. Champion or not, I'll be there to see the old girl on her way, and maybe bust some more skulls on the out. I'm in.”

With the confirmation from the Murder Show himself that he'll be showing up for the final run leading to Colossus and more details being set to give the climax PRIME deserves the momentum is picking up leading into the hottest summer on record.
