PRIME Announces Additional Show for Farewell Tour

PRIME’s farewell seems to be going well.

“Extremely well.”

Those were the words of Lisa Tyler following the Labor Day weekend. And, in fact, the start to PRIME’s farewell tour has been so successful that, this morning, an additional show was announced.

ReVolution: The Last Stand will take place on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 live from Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH.

The show, set to be the last before Colossus VIII, will bring an end to the ReVolution Era and will feature a card composed of all varieties of No Holds Barred themed matches.

“ReV 250 was always supposed to bring an end to ReVolution on a nice, historic anniversary number, but the response from the fanbase for PRIME’s final tour has been so overwhelming that we decided to add another show.” Tyler said. “It didn’t seem right to carry on to a ‘251’, so we settled on ReVolution: The Last Stand, and decided to give the fans an entire card filled with the special attraction matches you might only see a couple times a year.”

Both ReVolutions 248 and 249 were packed to capacity, with ReV 250 selling-out in quick fashion, and ratings for HBO have been solid. Given the response from fans, and even several on the roster, it was decided that an additional show was a must.

“HBO was willing to work with us and agree to another two-hour special on very short notice. Their partnership, throughout PRIME’s history, has been a great asset.” Tyler added. “Columbus is an exceptional city in the heartland of America and seemed the perfect stop between DC and Chicago on the road to Colossus.”

Tickets for ReVolution: The Last Stand will go on sale Thursday September 6th
